359 Sans is an experimental font in 10 weights, which includes latin and cyrillic. It is intended to fill a gap in the Bulgarian type scene which lacks variation in fonts for specific purposes. Masters graduation project in Type design at the National Academy of Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria.
359 Sans is intended for text at very small sizes or as a display font. Its construction revolves around large ink traps with functional and aesthetic purposes.
A slightly condensed font family with open forms and two types of ink traps. Clear differentiation between letterforms. All these characteristics increase legibility when used in print on low quality paper and also give 359 Sans a unique look.
