This project is for my Pictorial logo design assignment where we combine two different objects to create something new. For this, we started off with word listing which moved onto thumbnails sketches, then rough comps, to final comps.
Approach
The approach was to showcase how guitars/banjos and other instruments are seen as candy to some adults, something sweet and something that makes them happy. The shop this logo is designed for is supposed to be designed as if it were a candy shop, and is supposed to give a nostalgic feel.
Results
The project is successful because it combines the two elements of the banjo and the candy to create something unique and fun. The colors help showcase this because they are soft and sweet, similar to the colors of cotton candy.
