Submissions poster for "Strange Bedfellows", a queer arts festival on wheels organized by YTR KDR, a civil rights collective formed by students from different institutions. Festival is shaped around of multiple disciplines, from street theater acts to found-object sculpture exhibits, and is critical and demure, but informal in nature. Due to the fact that the festival would be on the move for months to various cities in Turkey, big and small and most of which is highly conservative, main objective of the assignment for everyone involved was not to transform the content into something else and soften it for different social groups (in short, showing it as something it's not -"sugarcandy"), but be pretty straightforward and confronting instead towards the citizens of one of the most disaffirming countries, on a completely characteristic culture of its own.
