Notre Dame magazine, the catholic school's organ, wanted to tackle the issue of why new priests were hard to come by.

I offered up several solutions, in several rounds of submissions, but as soon as they saw this one it was the obvious winner.

Forbes mag. asked me to develop an idea about why Americans complain so much when we have it so good. The image ended up being a gatefold cover.

Submitted many idea sketches and we homed in on this one.

Asked to do a giant 'money' foot about to crush some people I decided to take a slightly primitive approach.

With only two days to complete this painting, I was a very tired guy after turning it in.
