For a wedding taking place on New Year's eve we decided to bring drama and opulence to this invitation suite using deep letterpress printing, gold foil and an ornate laser cut sleeve. We also created a one of a kind coat of arms fashioned from meaningful details and symbolism surrounding the couple. The final presentationwas as luxurious as it was unique.
Weddings don't get any more romantic and glamorous than in Paris so we wanted to set the tone with an invitation that captured a truly classic Parisian feel in a fresh, updated way. Yelena, the bride, was originally from Russia and loved all things luxurious and ornate, Chris on the other hand had a more modern and minimalist aesthetic. We merged their individual styles in the middle and accentuated the design with a multitude of luxe print methods, details and finishings, from ultra thick gilded edges to a custom booklet to a unique sculptured embossed crest drawn specially for them.
The invitation card is printed in gold foil and black letterpress on ultra thick stock with gilded edges. It is paired with a booklet (also with gilded edges) which outlines the itinerary, information, and details, all designed in a contemporary editorial style with bold typography and crisp photography taken either by the bride and groom or during their engagement shoot. Both of these pieces slide into a stark white sleeve accented with a sculpture embossed coat of arms designed specially for them. The interior of the sleeve was lined with hot pink paper, an accent color that was used throughout the presentation. The final piece was mailed in a custom gusseted envelope whichwas foil stamped and calligraphed by hand in gold ink.
For a chic wedding at a historic castle in Brazil, we designed a luxury invitation that would not only set the tone for the festivities but convey a unique old world feel. Carolina and Andrew were looking to embrace the gilded look of the castle but balanced with modern sensibility and style. We incorporated unique finishes such as hand-contoured beveled edges, die cut shapes, gold foil and delicate typography for a look that would set the mood and delight their guests.
We took Art Deco styling to the next level with this high fashion inspired black and gold wedding invitation. Printed in dazzling gold foil on thick black stock, this invitation is evocative of a dramatic piece of costume jewelry or couture accessory, a look that truly embodies the vision the couple were looking to achieve.
