The Japanese American Tourism Organization wanted to attract Americans to visit through a design-led poster series.
Approach
As a Japanese American, I was inspired by cuisine my Dad used to make and how food is essential to the travel experience. I took a graphic, minimal approach to this project to reflect Japanese culture and my own taste.
Results
I am proud of this work. It's received positive recognition from mentors, peers and is always a talking point when my portfolio is reviewed.
