In my publication on Joseph Beuys, two quotations are interwoven, namely: anyone can be an artist, and the tree is an element of regeneration, which in itself is a concept of time.
I took inspiration for this publication from nature and from his work entitled: 7000 Oaks. This resulted in a wooden construction that associates a tree and consists of wooden rectangles. According to Beuys, trees are more intelligent than people. That is why the content of the publication, which introduces us to the artist's life, is written on sheets of paper hanging next to a wooden construction or tree.
Beuys believes that everyone can be an artist, so each individual can create a different composition of a wooden structure or tree and hang a different number and content of paper slips (text - information) on it. For sharing the project (publications), all parts of the project are kept in a tin, which also serves as a packaging for this publication. As we know, Beuys was one of the first conceptual artists to propagate ecology as a good of any modern society. Therefore, the choice of the can was logical from the viewpoint of reusing discarded (recycled) packaging.
