The design festival STRELKA 2014 will mark 100 years since the start of World War I. “World War I – 100” is a poster competition dedicated to the war that forever changed the world, led to the death of millions of people and to the emergency of fascism; the war that caused revolutions and destroyed empires. It’s the period when for the first time in human history weapons of mass destruction were used.
For the poster, I wanted to rely on some elements that are not overused, like bullets, blood, war machines and so on.
When we discuss about the origin of World War I, we instantly picture the image of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, ignoring the name and face of the killer, Gavrilo Princip, so I wanted to conform in an image, using the two elements, a poster in a visually appealing way, giving the name "War Unmasked" as if Gavrilo took the place as the real cause of the start of World War I.
I had the honor to be selected as a finalist with my poster, together with many talented designers and another ecuadorian too.
The works selected by the Selection Committee will be exposed at the festival and published in the final catalog of the design festival STRELKA, 2014.
Right to healthcare - Poster for Tomorrow 2015. The concept was to reflect the hardships many people have when they try to access proper healthcare.
The idea was to recreate the health icon, as an artificial wall, to simulate a situation in which, people are struggling to get access to free medicine. But in this case, the cross acts as an obstacle itself, making everyone feel unconfortable.
The poster won the Gold Award in the Graphis New Talent Annual 2017. Also it was shortlisted for the Poster for Tomorrow 2016 edition, and featured on the PosterPoster website.

Poster for Tomorrow 2014, Work Right!
Some students, after they graduate from high school, start looking for jobs to pay their university studies, but they lack experience, and almost every work requires you to have like a year or two of experience in order to be selected as a worker. Most company owners think that a student is ready to work and full of experience and refuse to help the inexperienced ones. The tie does not come ready with the graduation cap, experience needs to be earned, but bosses do not seem to understand this. The ideal situation would be, that after you graduate, from high school or university, you are more than eligible for a job, so you can put yourself the tie just after graduating and start working!
