Whenever we are awarded a new project we meet with the client multiple times to ask key questions and listen to how they envision their company, what drove them to start it, the traits they want to portray. Only after that do we begin our design and strategic process of developing their identity.
In the case of Rijke, it was clear from our discussions, as engineers they respect good, clean design. Using the first three letters of their name, we created the favicon utilizing the dots in the “i” and “j” as connection points. These dots represent technology design & consulting which insulate the “i” (client) in the center.
The finished design is suggestive of a stylized power symbol, reinforcing Rijke’s commitment to energizing their client’s vision from start to finish.
