The works are inspired by reports from the war. It is very difficult for me because I react emotionally to what is happening in Ukraine. This work refers to the story from 1994, when Ukraine, which managed to separate from the USSR, "gave up nuclear" in exchange for a guarantee of its independence. Meanwhile, one of the countries guaranteeing this peace, attacked her again in February this year! What do the UK and the US say?
The chosen topic is very close to me as a Polish woman who recalls 1939. At that time, Poland also had guarantees signed by its allies and it did not get much of this aid. I do not want Ukraine to experience the same! With this poster I wanted to remind about this "minor" fact from history.
The poster is based on freehand sketches, with the subsequent outline of the concept in graphic programs. This is the second version of the published composition in which I decided to add a stain and dripping blood drops from the aggressor's knife. A graphic texture has been applied to the flat spot.
The work participated in an exhibition in a gallery in Krakow, it was also published in social media, among others by the 4th Block group.
The poster is a tribute to the President of Ukraine who faces the invaders during Russian aggression and defends his homeland. The poster alludes to an unprecedented response to the US president who asked him to evacuate a bombed country. Zelensky was supposed to reply, “I don’t need evacuation, only ammunition,” which showed his strength and determination, as well as the real needs of his country. Ukraine does not need assurances and asylum, it needs military support to kick the invader from its territory!
The poster is based on the official portraits and photos of the president that can be found on the Internet. This is the image of the president from the time of the war, as evidenced by the unofficial outfit and slight stubble. The poster is signed with my proprietary logo with the coat of arms of Ukraine transformed into a heart - saying that “with my heart I am with Ukraine”.

In February this year, the world as I had known it trembled in its foundations.
Russian aggression against Ukraine is an unforgivable evil. The whole world
it favors Ukraine, but the war continues and with it comes more
unnecessary death. People are dying! Children are dying! Children lose
parents. And it is happening right next door. The situation arose very badly
it shocked me. I do not agree to her!
The war in Ukraine continues and we cannot forget it! The war is on and we cannot
move on with this topic on the agenda. We must fight, we must support! Puki
it won't all end! Designing posters about the war and publishing them
in the media is one of my ways to fight and oppose what is happening
currently in Ukraine.
The works were created under the influence of reports from the war. It is very difficult for me because I react emotionally to what is happening in Ukraine. War is not a friendly topic, but it must be talked about.
The work was made on the basis of a manual sketch, later developed vectorially in graphic programs. I would like to present the dramatic situation in Ukraine as a clash of Ukrainian idyllic everyday life in national colors with the brutal and bloody Russian aggression. The poster is signed with my proprietary logo with the coat of arms of Ukraine transformed into a heart - saying that “with my heart I am with Ukraine”.
Posters are published on the Internet and social media, both private and public, including FB 4th Block. I was also invited to participate in a collective exhibition devoted to the war in Ukraine, which was organized in a gallery in Krakow.
The poster alludes to the “cult” response of Ukrainian soldiers - defenders of the Serpent Island - to an attempt to force their capitulation by a Russian ship. They were to answer, “Russian warship - *** off.” In the first days of the war, they were considered heroes and dead, and in the following days, news came that the defenders survived and were in captivity. Perhaps it was just propaganda, perhaps such words did not take place, but, whether created or not, they have become a symbol of opposition to Russia.
The work was created on the basis of a preliminary manual sketch, which was worked out vectorially in graphic programs. Lettering poster, a Russian ship was built from the text of the daring response of Ukrainian soldiers. The whole composition is complemented by a wave-shaped curl reminiscent of the sea. Everything in the blue and yellow tones of the national colors of Ukraine.
Posters are published on the Internet and social media, both private and public, including FB 4th Block.
