Dissected kicks is a Moda Exhibition inspired by an artist who takes sneakers apart and turns them into sculptures. Sneakers have become a big part of fashion and pop culture. We see brands like Nike collaborating with luxury brands like Dior and Off-White more frequently. With this new pop culture movement, it raised the intrigue of how sneakers are made and how each one is different from the other. Taking the concept of dissected sneakers, I decided to take typography and cut, slice, and fracture. The sneaker featured on the key art poster was taken apart and arranged as a sculpture. It served as a preview or prelude to what the audience may see in the exhibition.
The final product is what you see here I was extremely happy with the outcome and how experimental I got with the typography.
