Aerials of the Crazy French Ranchand Fisher's Peak. Crazy French Ranch sits astride the New Mexico/Colorado border is is 19,000 acres of pristine wilderness. The Nature Conservancy asked me to shoot aerials of the ranch and Fishers Peak for a story on how it is becoming Colorado's newest state park.
Approach was to fly in a turbine helicopter on a cold-crisp fall day to show Fisher's Peak (9000 foot plus elevation) and the ranch toward New Mexico.
Story published in Nature Conservancy magazine, images used in conjunction with other environmental groups that were part of the process of purchasing the land and turning it over to Colorado.
