The goal behind this project was to recreate packaging for an art supply tailored towards a specific audience and their lifestyle.

Inspired by the coast of Carmel, California and its artist, I wanted to create a set of paints that was easy to take on the go, had everything and artist would need, water resistant, and could withstand real life. The solution to this was an all in one art set that could store everything in a compact way but was very practical and could be taken on the go.

ADDEAU is a dynamic set of metallic pigments that includes 5 watercolor pigments, a watercolor pad, 3 paintbrushes, a palette, and is water proof. One thing ADDEAU successfully achieves is being able to be taken on the go and can withstand everyday life. It truly satisfies any girls needs who wants an all purpose paint pigment that is still chic but can withstand the elements. One thing I struggled with throughout this project was trying to make my product have gender neutral packaging, but I came to realize that most people who use this product are women and the girly packaging reflected the metallic pigments I repackaged.
