The purpose of this project was to design a packaging system that had various components but related to one another. I designed "a zip & a zing!" which is Italian soda inspired by Sophia Loren and Italy in the 1950's and 60's.

I chose pastel colors that were common back then and a typeface that I thought looked vintage yet modern. I incorporated stripes on the labels to reference the striped umbrellas that are very popular around Italy. The name came from lyrics in a song Sophia Loren sang in the movie Houseboat called "Bing, Bang, Bong!" I also designed and constructed the carrier the bottles come in.
