This project was to design a poster (and t-shirt) for the Croff-Fit Life 100-Day Burpee Challenge competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The challenge required participants to do 1 "burpee" (basically a squat, push-up plus a jump) on the first day, 2 on the second day, 3 on the third, and so on all the way to day 100, culminating in 5,050 total burpees.
The Burpee Challenge is a brutal and extremely physically demanding endeavor, where every burpee is just as difficult and important as the one that came before it. This is ultimately what drove my concept of "Make Every Burpee Count, and Count Every Burpee." As challenging as this exercise and competition was, it deserved a fun typographic concept and approach, that focused on the motion involved in the activity, as well as the goofy nature of the word "burpee."
