The real estate developer National Resources hired Mermaid, Inc. to design the brochure, in addition to designing all of the collateral materials & logo, for this cool condo project located directly on the Hudson River. The condos have a moderate price point & are marketed specifically to appeal to younger buyers.
Approach
We used an old world engraving of an oyster for the logo & developed the materials on the theme “The World is Your Oyster” to reach the millennial who believes they can achieve anything or go anywhere in life. We wanted the brochure to have a rich tactile feel that will appeal to our target market. The cover stock is a black uncoated stock with a subtle square texture that is picked up in the square format of the brochure. The cover logo is stamped in white pigment stamping. The old world map is printed in a lustrous metallic silver on the inside front & back covers. The text pages are on coated stock & have a silky-satin finish that feels wonderful.
Results
The client is extremely pleased & absolutely loves the way it came out!
