Texture approached us when they were ready to re-brand themselves and launch a national campaign. They are a technology company backed by all the major magazine publishers. Their mobile app provides their subscribers with unlimited access to hundreds of the best magazines in the world.
With all of this amazing content we knew that Texture subscribers would have a hard time pulling themselves away from their tablets and thus we introduced the concept of “binge-reading”. Through the campaign we presented scenarios where Texture subscribers were so immersed in their reading that they were completely unaware of the drama that was unfolding right in front of them.
In the first quarter of the campaign running, Texture had 110,000 new starts, a 20% increase in paid subscriptions and 3.8 million unique visits to their site. This made it clear that, thanks to Texture, binge-reading was certainly becoming a thing.
