In spring 2020, Chokis created Casa con Chispa. An event. A journey. An experience. Chokis created a world of indulgences that celebrated the limitless wonder of the senses. We took chocolate into a whole new headspace, provoking experimentation through taste, touch, smell, sound, vision.
Chokis is a brand that is loved by millions for its fascinating taste, but we were looking for a new way to engage consumers beyond the product and the usual touch points. It was time to show folks that Chokis is a lot more than just a cookie. It was time to make a statement and try something new.
Chokis is a brand that ignites joy through the obvious sense of taste. Our solve was to extend this reach to all five senses. Our solve was to take people on a journey through sense experiences that light up the imagination. Our solve was Casa con Chispa. The house where each sense was linked to a distinct brand experience. The Lobby was all about bright, full colors that immersed you in the Chokis world. The Kitchen was a world of chocolaty surprises where people could experiment with our unique brand recipe. The Pack was an experience of ascent. Going up a flight of stairs visitors followed their nose through a chocolate scented tunnel — like a journey through our pack. Touch was a room where the visitors could feel like a kid again by indulging in their tactile sense. This room was full of chocolate scented balls and a big slide.Sight was a room lined with mirrors and filled with giant 3D cookie chocolate drops — perfect for selfies. Ear was a place where people could record the sound of themselves eating cookies and then instantly mix their munches with beats provided by a guest DJ. No experience would be complete without a giftshop. Store was where cool, limited-edition Chokis gear was on sale. Stuff like caps, sweaters, pins, t-shirts and hoodies.
We know that millennials value experiences. They thrive on knowledge, discovery and of course experimentation. They collect experiences like other generations collected books or records. So, we decided to create a Chokis experience. A journey that activates the senses. We wanted to build something that people wanted to be a part of. Something they wanted to share with others and post about online.
