The goal of this project was to create a trademark for the brand Hottah Spirit, a Canadian whisky distillery.
Approach
For this mark I used a morphological approach, combining the letter H with a moose. The name Hottah is a moose god found in Canadian folklore, and Spirit works as a double entendre for the deity and for alcohol.
Results
This logo is successful because it's simple yet effective in nodding to Canadian traditions through folklore and whisky in a sophisticated way.
