LYD designed the Experiential masterplan for the ANNAN town center and honored Spanish historical and artistic figures with our sculptures.
Approach
the entry columns set a ceremonial entrance of 9 columns. one sculpture honors Christopher Columbus first journey to the new world with the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria ships. another two sculptures ( faces ) honors Pablo Picasso
Results
The sails speak of the power of the wind while the granite speaks of the rough waters along the way. The picasso sculptures are reminiscent to the abstract faces of Picasso The entry columns are a series of 9 light towers The architecture of the project was designed by our firm as were the lighting features and the canopy.
