This poster was designed by Brian Collins, Founder of Collins, and Matt Luckhurst, Executive Creative Director at Collins, to announce the opening of the Collins San Francisco Office in 2015 at the Apple Store in Downtown San Francisco in partnership with the Art Directors Club.

The idea was to poke at the tension found in San Francisco between technology, art and design's role. Design embraces complex systemic thinking. But it is filled with life, ideas and color. It is informed by data. But driven by dreams. In a city that can raise a rainbow flag to change the world while simultaneously lifting epic reductivism (wrapped in Myriad) to an art, there exists a brilliant creative tension unlike anywhere else in the world.
