This assignment is a package design based on western accessories, specifically ones for cowboy hats. The goal was to create a package for a cluster of cowboy hat feathers with a classic West Texas theme in mind.
Approach
After lots of researching of colors and imagery associated with West Texas nature, I illustrated a symmetric scene to frame the feathers inside the box. This design is supposed to convey a classy yet fun brand voice.
Results
This project was a success because of the bright color combinations and use of symmetry throughout. It conveys the spirit of West Texas through its illustration style and typeface choices paired with the aesthetic of the feathers.
