Family-owned and operated vineyard is located in Wilyabrup, in the heart of the Margaret River, Western Australia. The name 'Jilyara' was inspired by the abundance of bees in the vineyard and derives from the word 'Djilyaro', meaning 'place of bees' in the indigenous Noongar language. ‘Djilyaro' was also the original name of the property. The brief which included the rebranding, was to create a premium, striking series of labels for their first premium tier of wines that built upon the 'bee- related' theming.

From the great grandfathers on both sides, down through their family tree, all the men have William within their name. One of the favourite sections of the Jilyara vineyard is also known as ‘William’, to honour both their past and their future – so 'Williams' Block' became the appropriate name for their premium wine of the portfolio. The labels feature a detailed scientific illustration of the ‘apis mellifera’ bee that make the vineyard their home. With heavy cotton paper, these labels feature warm honey gold foiling with embossing, debossing and sequential bottle numbering.

The rebrand of the vineyard to Jilyara combined with the new livery tiers of labels has been an enormous success, engaging the retailers, confers and especially the fine wine collectors.
With these special labels that exude beauty, care and craftsmanship combined with the premium quality of wine has resulted with the first vintages being sold out at a record rate.
