To create a new look book for Leenabell.
A custom, and repurposed vintage jewelry line, combining classic vintage with a modern edge.

My approach to the Leenabell look book was color. I used color gels to be able to show the rebirth of the vintage jewelry, giving it a retro yet fresh modern edgy look. The color helped to create contrast and allow the gold to take different forms.

When Ricardo was brainstorming ideas for my Leenabell look book he came up with this Black and Red series with dramatic moody lighting...a sort of Viva Glam spin with hair and make up. 
I have always been a fan of his work, particularly his lighting and when I say his raw images are not far from the finals that is a true statement. His attention to detail and and his lighting blows me away. When we were shooting on set the raw photos (just on the monitors) took my breath away...so you can imagine my reaction when I saw the finals. I was beyond thrilled and he captured the essence of Leenabell and all that we were trying to portray on this shoot. The photos are truly magical. The models look gorgeous, the skin looks flawless, the jewelry looks amazing the lighting was stunning, no detail was less than perfection! The hardest part was the deciding which photos to use because honestly every frame could've been the cover shot.
