Shells & Fish, a company specialized in the import and export of premium seafood, asked us to create a brand for their variety of frozen shrimp products. In essence, there was a need to conceive a brand to be sold in large supermarket chains as well as via e-commerce platforms. The shrimp is from Ecuador, specifically from farms where the most exquisite and delicate species of shrimp are raised. Its size, quality and organoleptic qualities make it one of the best shrimp in the world.
The frozen products sector of supermarkets is a place of high concentration of visual inputs. In particular with the shrimp sector, you will find that most packaging solutions either reveal the content, i.e., a frozen product without much visual appeal, or the simple use of product photography. To stand out from this scenario, we found it appropriate to create a packaging solution that breaks with these classic patterns. Thus, we worked with the text as the main element “saying” something that nobody else is saying in their packaging. The message is clear: “If you are looking for the best shrimp in the world, here you have it.” Aesthetically, the use of metallized paper was prioritized to convey the freshness of perfectly frozen, all-natural seafood, as well as to obtain an additional element of distinction in the graphic proposal.
The result is a pack that is radically different from the competition. This packaging is very directly talking and communicating with the potential buyer. In doing so, it’s statement is something bold, clear and valuable to the consumer. Ultimately, we have a message found in a distinctive graphic environment, remarkable, impossible to disguise and highly memorable.
