Having created a new brand identity for Portakabin based on 'The Science of Building', Landor was tasked with finding a way to showcase the brand and its philosophy in a way that was more interesting than the conventional visual assets and would help to demonstrate their leadership in the world of modular construction.

A bespoke typeface, Modula Hero, was designed for use in the heroic moments throughout Portakabin communications. Complete with characters for every language in the regions where Portakabin operates, the typeface brings to life 'The Science of Building', embodying the expertise that goes into creating a modular building through the use of two layers that work together to create an effect reminiscent of an engineering diagram or architectural drawing.

The modernised brand identity is successfully helping to enhance positive perceptions of the Portakabin brand and position them as confident leaders in the modular industry. Portakabin clients are sharing great feedback and employees are embracing the new identity, successfully rolling it across their internal and external marketing communications.
