Assignment: FleishmanHillard holds a corporate golf tournament every year with proceeds benefiting a local charity. They needed a poster to advertise the event and recruit golfers.
Approach: The goal was to portray golf in a unique way, to gain the attention of everyone, from golfers to people who typically weren’t interested in playing in the tournament. Inspired by Bauhaus poster design the sun, flag, the golf ball and its shadow are represented by simple shapes. All type and elements align along two intersecting angles.
Results: A large number of employees registered to play, many who were not passionate golfers. Because of the good turnout a significant donation was made to the local charity.
