I was tasked with creating 2 different lighting setups. They were not so different than one another in that they were both very very soft light. But one was from straight over camera for the PR set up, for beauty lighting. The key art lighting was more of a Vermeer look. I am not known for doing this look, though I have done it before, definitely not this well! I was very excited about the results with the massive files and very long lens along with the sumptuous wardrobe. Holding the heavy 240mm straight was sometimes hard as I always hand hold -I am always finding the shot. Elisabeth told me about the one eye peeking under the hood- she said she had been doing it while filming and would I like to capture it? I said "of course" and away we went! Collaboration with the subject is crucial!
