Dr. Mike Kearl was a beloved Professor of Sociology at Trinity University in San Antonio for 39 years. The Kearl Family, partnering with Trinity University, established an endowment campaign to fund a scholarship in Dr. Kearl's name.
Approach
Kearl was a man whom might be described as a larger than life character; witty, charismatic and he possessed a playful intellect. A caricature had been drawn by a fellow professor years earlier that captured Mike's essence, and we knew we wanted to use it as our icon for the letterhead and suite.
Results
The campaign began in late February, 2016, and as of August, has brought in over $60,000 toward out $100,000 goal Another mailing will go out in late September 2016 for end of year donations.
