Create a company that combines two un-alike businesses and then create their logo.

For this assignment, I wanted to create something that belongs in the present, but represents the past. So, I decided to combine an old ice cream parlor and a retro video game arcade, two things (sugar and technology) we cannot live without in the modern age.

Based off of an old pixelated gaming system such as any Atari game such as Dig-Dug and Galaga, the large pixelated ice cream cone brings nostalgia of the days of horrible graphics and quarter-priced entertainment, while the ice cream, noticeable from the strawberry color and waffle cone, conveys exactly what the company is. The blocky and heavy type of the word "Replay" mimics old technology while the fluid "creamery" puts a slightly modern twist on old parlor typefaces.
