Viewsonic is an innovator and visionary in visual display solutions. The in house creative team was asked to craft a brand story to that would resonate with professional photographers. The target audience is being extended to include a pro photography niche.
We developed a new sub brand ViewSonic VP Series to segment our professional monitors into it's own upper tier brand position. A new tagline accompanied the brand to help enhance the positioning. "The Story Begins With A Click and Is told Over Time". The VP Series brand is simplified to signify how a high tech pro monitor can be simple to use and to be part of a photographer's workflow. The meaning behind the brand is an extraction of VIP = VP with Series to demonstrate evolution as the brand embraces technological advances.
Sales have increased three folds at trade shows due to visually appealing branded collateral. Brand recall and awareness continues to grow. The brand has been rolled out in printed marketing collateral, digital ads, and amplified through social media channels.
