GHD was assigned to create a monograph for the reintroduction of the Rorhauer Library as the Cohen Film Collection. The collection spans 75 years of movie history and includes over 700 prominent films, many of them silent and/or black and white.
GHD developed an intellectually organized design configuration in order to present the vast collection in manner consistent with its level of prominence.
The finished monograph displays the monumental collection in pristine black and white, reflective of the films’ qualities. Evocative movie stills are paired with information organized in a grid reminiscent of a timeline, speaking to the library’s rich history.
