Create a spread for a feature article in a magazine. The solution should be interesting while visually communicating some idea of the article.
My chosen article discusses the current state of trust in society, institutions, and organizations, which is at an all-time low due to political unrest, a global pandemic, and years of government and corporate scandals. The article suggests that leaders at all levels should make building or rebuilding trust a priority in the coming year. It lists four key elements of trust: reliability, transparency, integrity, and vulnerability.

I gained familiarity with the article and began making word lists. I drew thumbnails inspired by words from the list and researched imagery that could be interesting. My solution uses architecture as a metaphor for building blocks, specifically choosing extruded architecture to represent transparency and vulnerability by being out in the open.
