This project is a program to perform the eleventh song [chapter of Nekia] from the epic poem "Odyssey" of the ancient Greek epic poem by Homer, using Noh play. Mikhail Marmarinos, the director of modern Greece, says that Homer's epic is a song and not literature, and Noh music is a song, not a theater. This work is attributed to the conviction that the only means to embody Homer's 11 songs "Nekia" (Japanese translation and Hitomi) on stage is Noh performance. The hero Odysseus, who led the Greek forces in victory in the Trojan War, as a means of expressing the line of evil descending into the nether world to know what is necessary to reach the country of origin, the No Theater structure, the ability to use the body expression and the Greek ancient theater Collaboration. Japan and Greece that use the Nohgaku technique to imagine that the genes of ancient Greek theater are possessed by the expression of the world view where the dead and the living things can not understand with modern concepts including today's Greek, It is a collaboration project.
The image of the rising soul of the climax scene was integrated with typography and made a key visual. Along with the photos of Noh, it conveys the work itself.
It was a big success, a great success, a great success.
