Firstly, I had to choose a place to describe, so I chose the facade of my house. Then, I described it according to 30 main categories, each one configuring a group of 10 words. Secondly, I had to find relationships between the 300 words. It was a big challenge to establish the relationships between the words and find an efficient way to transmit all the information. In order to accomplish that I built my relation with each word answering to four questions: can I hear it?, can I see it?, can I touch it?, can I guess it?. I could only answer “yes” or “no” to these questions. Another big challenge was not to use images and, to overcome this, I used lines to connect the pieces of information and transmit the message. I also built the relationships with the words based on my feelings and perceptions (what is feeling and what is perception.). The colors are warm because I fell well in the place where I live, they create the feeling of comfort and I wanted to show this to the viewers. All the connections reflect my own, unique perspective and interaction with the place I chose and this graphic shows my relation with the façade of my house. This is my world, my sight, my point of view and these are my feelings.
