A Type Stool
Assignment
Letters are elements many people use every day, and chairs are also used by people without missing one day. Although these are different, the work began by tying the two areas in common.
Approach
Each stool tries to show the variety of formativeness felt in numerous fonts. As if I’ve created a font by making nodes that support individual letters and printing a typesetting test, I made a stool through creating overall proportions, expressing beauty in three dimensions, modeling and mock-up tests.
Results
This work provides us with aesthetic appeal from various fonts and new possibilities in the area of typography.
