This is a poster for my one-person art show in Chelsea, New York. The main purpose of the show was to bring together my two client bases, introducing my graphic design customers to my art work, and my art patrons to my graphic design services.
The central element of the poster is one of my favorite artworks, "Cat, reflecting." It represents playful intellect, the talent to reflect on life with levity and curiosity. It is integrated with typography and poster design, reflecting professionalism, information architecture, and branding conventions.
People came on the opening night. Client bases crossed over. Artwork was sold, business cards were handed out. The turnout was high and the exhibit successfully reflected the range of my visual-art skills promised by the poster.
