The assignment was to pick a social issue and to create a poster that would take a stance on the issue using a letterpress printing press.
Approach
I decided to use a famous quote by Ronald Reagan to take a stance on abortion and to put it inside of the baby with a hanger on the top. The hanger really pushes the idea of how dark abortion can be. This whole process was hand carved on linoleum and pressed on a letterpress printing press.
Results
This poster really starts a conversation and makes people take a stance, which is what the whole assignment was about.
