The goal of this project was to create a brandmark for Bonsai Dojo, a karate dojo with strong roots on the art of Bonsai.
I took a morphological approach of combining a bonsai with a karate fighter as the roots of the Bonsai. Emphasizing the roots of the business: Karate.
The logo is successful because it is simple, unique, yet effective in communicating the true nature of this Karate Dojo.
