The Oklahoma State University department of art, graphic design, and art history needed a poster to promote the guest lecture for visiting designer and associate professor Mike Daines, Utah State University.

Using cut pieces of paper, I was able to position the letterforms that spelled out the designers name (Mike Daines) to create a face with the eyes being the counters in the letterforms. The borders are surrounded by the information about the lecture while the inside is made up of all the clients the designer has worked with over the years. Due to covid-19 the lecture had to be virtual this year so the QR code was made to make it easy to scan and view the lecture over zoom.
