Founded in 2010, the Berlin fashion label UMASAN stands for vegan fashion of timeless design. The twin sisters Anja and Sandra Umann design these absolutely wearable and chic pieces at their West Berlin studio, always considering sustainable production and best qualitiy of their garments.

What I really liked about the garments was their unique look: they are modern and straight-lined, yet they are very classical, and the look of our model gave them a little bit of an anachronistical touch. So I decided to shoot the series in a classical studio lighting and bring in some old fashioned props.

Since we shot more of a campaign than a lookbook, it was more important to create an atmosphere than having the clothes pictured perfectly sharp from head to toe.
The blur was not done on the computer, I used a tilt-shift-lens to create this selective sharpness.
