We got commissioned to create a special edition gig poster for String Cheese, which was going to be offered to her as a present from the management team - also on sale for fans during their two nights residency at the Fox Theatre.
Approach
Following the iconic psychedelic vibe of the band, we wanted to create something trippy & super colourful for this special poster, while exploring a graphic play with their name.
Results
The result is a dynamic, colour-pop illustration combining fluid/stringy abstract forms and distorted fonts, a kind of modern & dimensional take on their LSD-like aesthetic - a poster art that delighted our Client, the Artists & their fans.
