As a part of a publication project, we had to take each photo that was used. With mine being over the Texas Hill Country, I went out and photographed different landscapes I saw in the small towns that cover the Hill Country.
Approach
Once the photo was taken, I worked on editing and getting the aesthetic to fit the emotion and voice of each image. With this, I choose black and white because it felt like it fitted the rustic and Texas theme.
Results
The book design was very well received and this image was one of the favorited images of everyone who saw it.
