Create promotional material for a type foundry that has released a new typeface. Our task is to develop an engaging type promotion which includes a type specimen. This project should appeal to graphic designers and a type savvy audience. We have more freedom to develop content and formats than with other projects. This project should be fun and engaging; it should make the typeface sing, show its proper usage and explain its appeal.
In terms of creativity, I used Din’s meaning in English to expand the design. The audience can watch and explore this typeface promotional material by holding a red filter. In the choice of format, I chose to break the form of regular brochures and folders, and used the newspaper format to show the typeface to the audience.
This typeface newspaper gave a detailed presentation of the DIN Next Slab Pro typeface family, which comprehensively expresses the fun and diversity of the German road marking system.
