The goal of the project was to choose a song or musical composition and devise a visual system to communicate it.

Nia's song choice was "Space Song" by Beach House. Nia began the project by listening to the song first, breaking down each instrument into a symbol, and organizing the symbols into a visual design. Originally, it was one long horizontal design but she later broke it down into a more poster-like format. This format still displayed the symbolic composition inna legible manner while also having it look visually put together.I designed a poster that visually shows musical elements that depict the song, "Space Song" by Beach House.
