Knight's game Sinjska Alka
Sinjska Alka is a historical knight's game held in the city of Sinj (CROATIA) every year in August since 1715, when a small number of Sinj knights defended the city fortress from the great power of the Ottoman army. The word Alka is of Turkish origin. The horseman is Alkar with a spear in his hand with which he shoots Alka on a rope. The ring has the shape of a larger and a smaller circle that are connected by three joints (picture number 5). Knight's game Sinjska Alkaiteška igra Sinjska Alka is a protected intangible cultural heritage according to UNESCO.

Typgraphy concept
Sinjska Alka has a great tradition / more than 300 years / and is a favorite event that is remembered all year round. It is also a tourist attraction that is watched live by 15,000 visitors, and is broadcast on television, also live, as it is a competition of spear shooting in the Alka of the Knights on horseback at full speed. Special clothes and old weapons are especially nice. However, the design of the announcement poster is extremely simple. It shows the shape of the Alka that is the basis of the competition. Typographic solution with numbers and a separate letter A, a complete experience of a knight's game called Sinska Alka was achieved.
