Since insomniac prides itself on originality and culture I wanted to reflect that in the mark. The colors I chose are a reflection of their most current event and are something that could change depending on the event they were hosting. The other most apparent aspect of the wordmark, based on the type of acriform, is the crescent moons cutting into the font. Since insomniac is known for their all-night-long events I wanted that aspect fully reflected throughout the mark. After combing the bright energy-filled colors reflective of upbeat electronic music with the crescent moons the new insomniac mark was born.
