This is the poster of the book "Shattered Lives" written by Yavuz Ekinci. It is about a broken Kurdish family whose elder son has taken to the hills as a Kurdish guerrilla and the younger one has taken refuge in a foreign country. It is all about the hard conditions a Kurdish family in southeast Turkey has to live with.

In this poster project the hills represent the silhouette of the broken family members and divided typography accompany this image.

This poster aim to reveal the broken Kurdish families in southeast Turkey, strong relation between their society and geographical features of the district they live in.
