The intent for this project was to choose three books either by the same author, in an existing series, or by different authors under the same genre, and make them look like they belong in a set. It was required to design three book covers and three book jackets.
Approach
I chose three adventure stories written by different authors. My idea was to make the books look as if they were on the journey with the reader. I incorporated watercolor, ink, and wrinkled brown paper for that purpose. My goal was to take modern stories and make them look like older, more worn books.
