The project was about creating a book completely from scratch. Everything had to be from us, the copy and pictures, as well as actually printing and binding the book ourselves.
Approach
This was a project that I really enjoyed doing. I took a short story that I had written. The story is like if Indiana Jones met Pirates of the Caribbean. I got a textured off white paper and leather to bind the book with to give the feel like it was a journal that the main character would carry with him throughout the adventure. I also took some scenes from the story and illustrated them next to the story.
Results
People love reading the story and have said that reading it while it is in the book makes it feel like reading a journal entry from the adventurer.
